2-Amino-5-nitropyridine (CAS NO.4214-76-0) can be obtained from the nitrification of 2-Aminopyridine. Add the 2-Aminopyridine into the HNO₃ in 50 °C, then keep them in the 45 °C 2h. Mixing them 4h under the condition of room temperature. Add the Ammonium hydroxide into it to adjust the PH to 6. Filter and dry it to get the slight yellow solid.
